Wines at Fortezza 2026

"Wines of Crete" organises the event "Wines @ Fortezza 2026", a Cretan wine tasting under the stars, at Fortezza Fortress in Rethymno, on Friday, 1 July 2026.





Wine lovers and wine professionals will have the unique opportunity to enjoy, under the moonlight, Cretan wine from the members of the Network of Wine Producers of Crete. The fortress of Fortezza opens its doors for an evening full of Cretan wine!

Nineteen wineries from all over Crete will be in Rethymno and, from 20:00 to 23:30, visitors will be able to taste wine from native and international varieties, new and old vintages, but also get to know the people behind the "label".
