The Roads of the Blossoming Almond Trees 2026

The village of Sykourio, once again hosts the spring event The Roads of the Blossoming Almond Trees, inviting visitors of all ages to enjoy a unique springtime experience among stunning landscapes filled with almond blossoms.



The event will take place on Saturday, 14 March 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the depot area behind the local football stadium. The programme will open with performances by children’s traditional dance groups from cultural associations of the Municipality of Tempi. This will be followed by a leisurely walk through the blooming almond groves, while cycling enthusiasts will have the opportunity to join a scenic cycling route through the fragrant spring landscape.

Visitors will also have the chance to sample a variety of almond-based treats and take part in a photography competition, where the most impressive images will be awarded symbolic prizes.
