Celebrations Across the Neighbourhoods

Piraeus is donning its festive attire and invites you to experience the magic of Christmas from  7 December 2025 to 7 January 2026! The celebrations spread throughout the city, from the centre to the neighbourhoods, offering residents and visitors unique experiences, entertainment, and joy for all ages.



The programme, among others, includes the Elves’ Village, carousels, a Christmas train, face painting, musical walks, performances, storytelling sessions, concerts, and creative workshops for both children and adults.

Santa Night Run
Saturday, 20 December, 17:00
The popular night run returns, with children and adults dressing up as Santa Claus to run or walk through the main streets of Piraeus, spreading festive cheer throughout the city.

Night of Candles
Friday, 26 December, 19:00
 In the forecourt of the Piraeus Municipal Theatre, hundreds of candles will light up the night, creating a warm, magical, and reflective atmosphere. The 120-minute programme features beloved Christmas tunes, blending classical favourites with contemporary compositions. Entry is free.

New Year’s Eve in Piraeus
Piraeus will welcome 2026 in spectacular style. The Piraeus Tower will be illuminated with a dazzling display of lights, and fireworks, offering residents and visitors an unforgettable experience as the city counts down to the New Year.
