Aeschylia Festival 2025

The historic festival will once again return to the city of Elefsina, running from 31 August to 30 September 2025.



The Aeschylia Festival 2025, one of the most consistent and long-standing festivals in Greece is celebrating its 50th year.

The 2025 edition of Aeschylia Festival features a curated programme of theatre and music performances, concerts, a visual arts exhibition, and cultural events that spotlight contemporary artistic expression and creativity. The events will primarily take place, for the first time, at the former IRIS factory, which has been transformed into a contemporary multi-purpose cultural venue.

The festival will open on Sunday, 31 August, at the Archaeological Site of Elefsina, which traditionally hosts the opening event each year.

At both the advance ticket sales offices and the box offices located at the event venues, all transactions will be conducted solely via card payment. Cash payments will not be accepted.

Elefsina, a modern city with a rich archaeological, mythological, and industrial past, is at the heart of culture and creativity, hosting numerous events that have enhanced the city’s outward-looking perspective, left a valuable legacy, and strengthened its presence on the international cultural map.
