A taste of old Athens at the new “Zonar’s”

In the heart of the centre of Athens, at the junction of Panepistimiou Street and Voukourestiou Street, the “Zonar’s” café/brasserie has a long history that goes back to the pre-War Athens of the ’40s. Now, it opened again, after its thorough refurbishment by the renowned architectural firm Κ-Studio. Housed in the same iconic building of the city, the meeting point of Athens’ elite enters its new era, exuding a timeless Art-Deco aura. On the left side, the layout is more “loungelike”, with sofas and stools, where simple but well-made snacks are served; on the right side, there is the restaurant that serves dishes of the Greek and the international cuisine. The new “Zonar’s” is the latest addition to the CityLink building complex, which offers unique options for going out and having fun every hour of the day, from the luxury shop windows of Hermes, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Cartier and the immense Attica mall to some of the city’s best theatre stages to options for quality coffee and food.
