“Varoulko” in the new era

Being awarded Michelin stars and “Toques d’Or” for more than twenty years now, “Varoulko” is rightly included among the restaurants in Athens that are a destination in themselves. Its creator, Lefteris Lazarou, always sets new standards to contemporary, mainly seafood, Greek cuisine. So, “Varoulko” will soon have a “sister”, which will surely love gastronomy, but will take a broader view of things. A wine bar with amazing views, a room for events and private dining, equipped with a cigar “humidor”, a learning school for professionals and amateurs, and a Research and Technology Institute are some of the features of the ambitious and multi-layered new project, which will be housed in a two-storey building, next to where “Varoulko” is currently located in Mikrolimano. Until then, try the unique dishes of Lefteris Lazarou on the picturesque deck, with the sailboats’ masts in the background.
