“Varoulko” in the new era
Being awarded Michelin stars and “Toques d’Or” for more than twenty years now, “Varoulko
” is rightly included among the restaurants in Athens
that are a destination in themselves. Its creator, Lefteris Lazarou, always sets new standards to contemporary, mainly seafood, Greek cuisine
. So, “Varoulko” will soon have a “sister”, which will surely love gastronomy, but will take a broader view of things. A wine bar with amazing views, a room for events and private dining, equipped with a cigar “humidor”, a learning school for professionals and amateurs, and a Research and Technology Institute are some of the features of the ambitious and multi-layered new project, which will be housed in a two-storey building, next to where “Varoulko” is currently located in Mikrolimano
