In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt and mix well.
Gradually add the water in which the yeast has been dissolved. Mix thoroughly until the batter becomes thick and smooth.
Cover with a towel and let the dough rest until bubbles form on the surface.
Heat plenty of oil in a deep saucepan or pot.
Using a wet tablespoon, scoop portions of the batter and carefully drop them into the hot oil.
Fry until the loukoumades develop an even golden-brown color. Remove with a slotted spoon and serve.
Drizzle generously with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and sesame seeds.
