Where mountains meet the sea
Starting from the area of Itea you will discover the beaches of Miami, Trocadero and Vrachakia in Kirra. Miami beach is equipped with a Seatrac ramp for easy access for people with disabilities. Continuing on to Galaxidi, you’ll find several inviting spots, among which Kalafatis (also with Seatrac), Agios Vasileios and Agioi Pantes stand out. Next comes Panormos, a quiet sandy beach with municipal umbrellas and no commercial facilities, followed by the long beach of Eratini. Serviced and featuring Seatrac access, it is complemented by a charming seaside village offering traditional tavernas and rooms to let. The same applies to Tolofonos beach, a large and popular stretch of fine pebbles. Vathi beach offers natural shade from trees, umbrellas and a canteen. The little harbour of Agios Nikolaos connects by ferry to the Peloponnese during the summer months, while nearby Glyfada features the village and seaside shops.
The beach of Sergoula, running parallel to the coastal road, features pebbles, umbrellas and Seatrac access. The serviced beach of Marathias boasts beautiful sand and a lively atmosphere, while still offering quieter corners for those seeking relaxation—also with Seatrac facilities. It is one of the most popular beaches in the area along with Skaloma, the unique Parathalasso of the village of Monastiraki (a strip of sand between the sea and the small lagoon called Blue Lake) and Hiliadou. All beaches are equipped with umbrellas, sunbeds and beach cafés, while Chiliadou also provides Seatrac access.
