Festival

The festival returns to the city of Elefsina for another year, running from 30 August to 3 October 2026.



This year’s programme features a selection of theatre and music performances, concerts, an art exhibition, film screenings and other cultural events, highlighting contemporary creativity and artistic expression. Most events will take place at the former IRIS factory, which has been transformed into a modern cultural venue.

The 2026 Aeschylia Festival opens on Sunday, 30 August, at the Archaeological Site of Eleusis, which traditionally hosts the Festival’s opening event.
