Festival

From August 21 to 30, 2026, the 5th edition of the Kymata International Film Festival will take place at the Municipal Building Complex of Thalassomylos in Argostoli, Kefalonia, with free admission.



This year's festival will feature international competition sections for Fiction, Documentary and, for the first time, Animation short films, alongside major open-air screenings, tributes, masterclasses, midnight screenings, concerts, and live music cinema performances.

At the same time, audiences will have the opportunity to visit a series of exhibitions, including one dedicated to Greece in the 1980s.
