The wild beauty of the Cyclades
The way the sea embraces Serifos has endowed it with some of the most beautiful shores in the Aegean Sea. The pride of the island is Psili Ammos, which has been described by international media as one of the top twenty beaches in Europe.
The Chora is built amphitheatrically on a rocky hill, like a fortress, against the threat of pirates, and is one of the most elegant in the Cyclades. Its alleys, narrow and labyrinthine, lead to small squares, churches with blue domes, and spots with breathtaking panoramic views. The castle, guardian of the island for centuries, stands at the peak, a lookout and protector.
