The epitome of summer idleness
With three hamlets, Schinoussa promises peace and serenity. The picturesque Chora sprawls protectively over a hill and offers a magnificent view from above, with its characteristic Cycladic houses smothered in basil and bougainvilleas. Sheltered Mersini, once a pirate hideout according to local tradition, is considered today one of the safest shelters for small boats in the entire Aegean.
