The island of dreamlike beaches
Milos is also famed for its numerous, idyllic beaches. As a volcanic island, it boasts striking geological formations, with white, red, yellow, and black hued rocks, white sandy shores, and rocks sculpted by time and the sea.
Its volcanic past is etched into the dramatic caves and unique coastal formations, exemplified by Kleftiko beach, where the cluster of sheer white volcanic rocks is breathtaking. The island's hot springs have been noted since antiquity and are referenced by Hippocrates.
