The Rhodes & South Aegean International Jazz Festival – “Jazz Across the Water – Mediterranean Bridges” will take place from 22 to 25 October 2026 at the Palace of the Grand Master, within the Medieval City of Rhodes. Admission is free. The Festival is under the artistic direction of Dimitrios Vasilakis.

Three nights of international jazz in Rhodes, bringing together artists from the USA, Puerto Rico, Greece, Slovakia, Cyprus, Turkey, Albania, Austria and Cuba in a programme connecting different generations and musical traditions through the contemporary language of Jazz.
Alongside the concerts, the festival features educational activities, workshops and collaborations with universities and young musicians. It also develops international partnerships with other festivals as part of the “Jazz Across the Water” initiative, which brings together musicians and cultures from across the Mediterranean, fostering dialogue, artistic exchange and cultural connections. In addition, on 23 and 24 October, Rhodes will host the international academic conference MedMus – Mediterranean Improvisations, creating a direct dialogue between academic research and live musical practice.
