Kanoni
Start early in the morning to make the most of your day. The ideal starting point is Kanoni, one of the most recognisable locations of Corfu, a stone's throw from the Ioannis Kapodistrias airport. Especially, if you're planning to arrive earlier the same day, this starting point will help you save valuable time. Admire the magnificent view of the lagoon of Chalikiopoulos, where the famous ancient Hyllaic harbour of Corfu was once located. At the mouth of the lagoon, the highly photographed islets of Vlacherna and Pontikonisi dominate the seascape. Walk the 300-metre-long pedestrian bridge that connects the islet of Vlacherna with the mainland and visit one of the most emblematic landmarks of Corfu, the 17th-century Monastery of Panagia Vlacherna. From there, you can take the excursion boat to visit the beautiful islet of Pontikonisi. (Suggested duration: 1 hour and 30 minutes)

Mon Repos Estate
Just a five-minutes' drive will take you from Kanoni to the fairytale Mon Repos Estate. The homonymous palace, built between 1828–1831 as the residence of the High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands Sir Frederick Adam, now houses the Paleopolis Museum, displaying finds from the archaeological site of Paleopolis and significant relics from the British rule period. Leaving the area of the palace-museum behind, prepare to explore the lush botanical paradise of the park, spread over an area of 23,5 hectares with exuberant vegetation. The bustling bay of Garitsa and just a seven-minute drive separate Mon Repos from the Old Town of Corfu. Paleokastritsa
After a scenic 45-minute drive through Corfu’s lush countryside, you’ll arrive in idyllic Paleokastritsa. Famous for its rare natural beauty, protected coves and cold deep blue waters, it is a magical setting. Enjoy a refreshing swim and climb up to the monastery of Panagia, with stunning views of the western lacy coastline and the vastness of the Ionian Sea. (Suggested duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes) With the striking beauty of Paleokastritsa etched in your memory, continue your journey north for another 50 minutes. If travelling with your partner, a swim at the most romantic beach of Corfu, the Channel of Love in Sidari, is an experience not to be missed. Legend has it that couples who swim there remain together forever.

Longas Beach
Your day concludes 4 km further to the west, at Loggas beach, with the characteristic steep, clayey rocks. The seaside restaurants of the bay offer a unique view of the most spectacular sunset of the island, set against the vertical cliffs and the magnificent Ionian Sea. Savour traditional Corfiot flavours and dishes with fresh seafood paired with local wine or refreshing tsitsibira (ginger beer). As you enjoy your meal, the sun will sink into the sea, painting the sky orange and writing the perfect end to a perfect day.
