SWAN | Acrobatic Dance Drama comes to the Thessaloniki Concert Hall from 3 to 6 September 2026, bringing together acrobatics, dance, music and theatre in a spectacular production from China.

The show follows the journey of a young female acrobat as she works towards her dream. Inspired by the real story behind the celebrated ‘Shoulder Ballet’, SWAN explores themes of effort, perseverance, failure and hope.
The swan is the central symbol of the production, representing grace, renewal and the strength to keep moving forward. Through impressive acrobatic skills and expressive movement, the performers tell their story through the language of the body, creating a strong visual experience for audiences of all ages.
Music is also an important part of the production, drawing on the Western classical tradition, including Camille Saint-Saëns’ ‘The Swan’ and the world of Swan Lake. These influences come together with contemporary stage movement to create a dreamlike atmosphere.
