The National Museum of Contemporary Art (EMST) is hosting Ode to Things, an exhibition dedicated to Niki Kanagini (1933–2008), one of the leading figures in post-war Greek art. The exhibition, curated by Tina Pandi, runs until 14 February 2027.
The exhibition invites visitors to look at everyday objects, materials and forms in a new way. Through her work, Kanagini highlights the beauty and meaning of ordinary things, exploring the links between art, everyday life and memory.
The exhibition features work created by the artist from the 1960s to the 2000s. In her work, everyday objects take on new meanings and become part of a unique artistic narrative.
