The “Petit Paris d’ Athènes“ is organised by the Athens Art Network along with various other partners and is a homage paid to Albert Camus on the 100-year anniversary of his birth.
This novel festival is scheduled to take place down town where there are streets with French names; there will be events in Vathi square and the place thereabouts, in the area below Omonoia square up to Karaiskaki square and Larissis Railway Station.
During the eight-day festival, circa 400 artists-volunteers will participate in 12 performances, 30 concerts, 9 visual art photo exhibitions and 10 forums, which will take place in 30 locations within the “Little Paris” area. Apart from the above, “events under the Petit Paris d’ Athènes programme will continue to take place on a monthly basis more or less, until the next festival” as stated by Marios Strofalis, composer and lyricist, artistic director of the festival and Head of the Athens Art Network.
Visit the environs of the National Conservatory, of Finos Film Studios as well as of many theatres; stroll the streets of the Little Paris of art and optimism!
