Trackers

Apollo has tasked the Tracking Satyrs with the help of Seilinos, to find his lost oxen, and in return gives them their freedom along with gold, but while following the traces of the animals, the Tracers find themselves in a cave under the sound of the lyre which had just been created by Hermes.

The rarely presented drama of Sophocles gives us a unique narrative of how music reached people's ears.
The Tracers, directed by Michael Marmarinos, returns to the Ancient Theater of Epidaurus with this "inconceivable text/monument", in historical performance.

The performances take place at the ancient theater of Epidaurus from 23 to 25 July at 21:00, with Greek and English subtitles.
