Nouveau réalisme

The Basil & Elise Goulandris Foundation, Athens, presents the temporary exhibition "Nouveau réalisme", an exhibition about the innovative and explosive art movement between Dada and Pop Art that radically changed 20th century art.


The exhibition presents works by artists who either at the time of its constitution or shortly afterwards signed the Manifesto of Neorealism in 1960 such as Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle, César, Christo, Arman, Gérard Deschamps, François Dufrêne, Raymond Hains, Martial Raysse, Mimmo Rotella, Daniel Spoerri, Jean Tinguely and Jacques Villeglé.

The exhibition will be hosted in the Museum's temporary exhibition space (first basement).

Announcement: On Monday February 6, 2023, the Museum will remain closed.
