The dance performance ''Carcaça'' by Marco da Silva Ferreira will be hosted at the Kalamata Dance Hall on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 July 2023, as part of the Kalamata Dance Festival.

In ''Carcaça'', Marco da Silva Ferreira utilizes dance as a tool to delve into the structure of communities, the formation of collective identity and memory, and the concept of cultural crystallization. Through the choreography, characterized by dynamic jumps that initiate and accelerate the action, the dancers embody resilience and cohesion, creating a revolutionary and carnivalesque experience. This research was initially initiated in 2020 with the dance performance "CORPOS DE BAILE" presented at the Companhia Nacional de Bailado.
Please note that admission is restricted to individuals aged 16 and above.
