Meteoro of Epirus is located in Kokkinolithari village of the Municipality of Filiates, on the road that connects Filiates to Ioannina through Keramitsa and Vrosina. It is one of the most scenic sightseeing and one of the greatest religious places in Thesprotian area. Its history comes from ancient times and is full of legends and traditions. It is dependency of Giromeri monastery approximately since 1667. It celebrates the saint’s memory on the 11th of November and can be visited all year long.
