Protector of Kythnos island. The church is built in a wonderful area and is of unique architecture. According to tradition, the icon was found in a canal and is said to be painted by Apostle Lukas. Even though it is more possible that it was painted by Cretan painter Adoni Skordili. It is located 17.5 km south of Chora.
