“Flamenco Documental” at Cervantes Institute

Enjoy a special tribute that immerses us into the magical world of flamenco! The tribute includes six recent movies, some of which are documentaries.

Flamenco, the trademark of Spanish culture, is a unique art form combining music and dance that thrills the audience all over the world. However, despite its international fame, the flamenco world in Spain is confronted with some serious problems… “Flamenco Documental” is focused precisely on those problems revealing to us its huge commercial exploitation. Famous directors attempt through their work to re-define flamenco as an artistic expression that totally respects the Spanish tradition and culture.
