Flights uniting Greece!

Domestic flights unite the whole of Greece. The choice of the plane for travelling to a Greek city or one of the islands offers a comfortable, safe and speedy trip. Fares are very reasonable, particularly if an advance booking is made. A great number of cities and islands have airports and routes are convenient for travellers.

Athens International Airport is one of the most modern in the world. Providing excellent ground services, it is a particularly attractive point of entry into Greece.

Greece has many other airports that welcome direct flights from abroad. Alexandroupolis has the International Airport ‘Dimokritos’, Thessaloniki the International Airport ‘Macedonia’, Corfu the ‘Ioannis Kapodistrias’, Rhodes the ‘Diagoras’ and Crete, the ‘Nikos Kazantzakis’ Airport of Heraklion.

Domestic flights are conducted by Olympic Air, Aegean Airlines, Athens Airways and Sky Express.

During the summer months, due to the increased passenger traffic, the above-mentioned companies carry out extra flights to the existing destinations while they also include in their programmed flights direct connections between popular tourist destinations. For this reason, it would be wise to obtain information either from the air companies or your tour operator before booking.
