Syros has a very good road network that reaches all villages and most of the beaches. There are, though, some very remarkable off-road routes on relatively passable dirt roads leading to beautiful areas. Some of those routes are: From Ermoupoli to Pigi tou Sirigga. You will start from the peripheral road of Ermoupoli and drive towards Richopos. Staying on the left you will pass by the wind turbines and follow the dirt road on the right that ends up in Pigi tou Sirigga and Aghios Ioannis chapel. The spring water is well known and the view to the sea takes your breath away.

Another route starts from Ano Syros and leads to Ferekidi cave passing through Finikia, Mitaka, Kiperousa and Richopos.
