Thesprotia's beaches

The blue green waters of the Ionian Sea lave all the west side of Thesprotia prefecture creating immense sandy beaches, scenic bays and small ports. The successive small and large gulfs in Thesprotia, which during centuries were bridging the gap between Greece and Italy and were also offering shelter to many mariners, are now welcoming small touristic boats and visitors from everywhere around the world.

Sagiada Area


Strovili Beach
Strovili beach belongs to the Municipality of Sagiada. It is located only 4km away from Sagiada and north before the prefecture boarders. Strovili is a quite beach in a small gulf with crystal clear water, white pebbles and sand. The beach is surrounded by lush green hills mesmerizing the visitors.

Keramidi Beach
Keramidi beach belongs to the Municipality of Sagiada and is located 3km from Sagiada. It is a small, quiet beach with white pebbles and crystal light blue waters. The blue color of the see combined with the green vegetation that surrounds it creates magic scenery. It is an organized beach with restaurants, coffee places and bars.

 

Igoumenitsa Area


Drepano Beach

It belongs to the Municipality of Igoumenitsa and is located just 5km from the city of Igoumenitsa. It is a large in length beach (7km) and extends over Drepano peninsula. The white fine sand, the shallow crystal clear waters and the eucalyptuses that grow along the beach create beautiful scenery. It has camping, taverns, coffee houses and water sports facilities.

 

Sivota Area-Platarias


Kokkinos Vrachos Beach

Kokkinos Vrachos beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota and most particularly to Plataria municipal district. It is located 2.5 km away from Plataria on the way to Igoumenitsa. It is a small quiet beach divided in two, with white pebbles and crystal light blue waters. It is surrounded by lush green vegetation which in combination with the blue color of the sea creates a beautiful and peaceful scenery.

Naftilos Beach

Naftlios beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota and most particularly to Plataria municipal district. It is located 2 km away from Plataria on the way to Sivota. It has white pebbles and clystal blue waters. Next to the beach there is a camping, rooms to let and a tavern.

Kalami Beach

Kalami beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota and most particularly to Plataria municipal district. It is located 4 km away from Plataria on the way to Igoumenitsa. It is a small beach with white pebbles, crystal clear waters and green vegetation that surrounds it. The beach has a tavern and camping.


Mega Ammos Beach

Mega Ammos beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota. It is located 1.5 km away from Sivota village on the way to Perdika. It is a calm beach with white pebbles and crystal blue waters. The colors of the sea in combination with the green color of the nature that surrounds the beach create beautiful scenery. It is an organized beach and has a tavern, coffee place and water sports facilities. 

 

 

Bakola Beach

Bakola beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota. It is located 1.5 km away from Sivota village, next to Mega Ammos beach on the way to Perdika. It is smaller than Mega Ammos (Mega means Large) but has the same characteristics such as crystal blue waters and white pebbles. Behind the beach there is an olive grove. There is also a tavern.

Pisina Beach

Pisina beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota. It is located in the island complex of Sivota, specifically in Mavronomos islet. It can be accessed only by boat. It is a beach with white sand and pebbles, deep blue waters and dense green vegetation that surrounds it. It is a tranquil and idyllic scenery.

Bella Vraka Beach

Bella Vraka belongs to the Municipality of Sivota. It is located in the island complex of Sivota and particularly in Mourtemeno islet. It can be accessed by boat or on foot by walking a small distance of very shallow waters. It is a small beach with white pebbles and crystal blue waters. The lush green vegetation surrounds the beach offering a beautiful and peaceful scenery.

 

Zavia Beach

Zavia beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota. It is located 700 m away from Sivota village on the way to Perdika. It is a small, quiet beach with white pebbles and crystal light blue waters. Next to the beach there is a small olive grove, A tranquil and peaceful location.


Zeri Beach

Zeri Beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota and is located on the northwest side of Sivota village. It is a small calm beach with shallow crystal clear waters and fine sand. It has a tavern – coffee place.

Gallikos Molos Beach

Gallikos Molos beach belongs to the Municipality of Sivota and is located in Sivota village. It has white pebbles and sand, crystal light blue waters and lush green vegetation surrounding it. It also has camping, taverns, coffee places and rooms to let.

 

Perdika Area

Aghia Paraskevi Beach

Aghia Paraskevi beach belongs to Perdika Community. It is located 9 km away from Perdika on the way to Sivota. It is a scenic and tranquil beach with coarse sand and pebbles, deep and crystal clear waters. On the background you can see an olive grove and in front of you Aghia Paraskevi islet where you can reach by swimming. It has a coffee-bar.

Arillas Beach

Arillas beach belongs to Perdika Community. It is located 5.6 km away from Perdika village. Arillas is a large beach with dark fine sand and very shallow waters. The vegetation that extends on the background is amazing. It also has small port, taverns and rooms to let.

Karavostasi Beach

Karavostasi beach belongs to Perdika Community and is located 7 km away from Perdika village. It is a large beach with coarse white sand and blue crystal clear deep waters. At the edges of the beach there are two lush green hills that create a magic scenery. It has rooms to rent, hotel complexes, taverns and a refreshment hall.

 

Stavrolimenas Beach

Stavrolimenas beach belongs to Perdika Community. It is located 5km away from Perdika village between Karavostasi and Arilla beaches. It is a small scenic and quiet beach. It has light blue crystal clear waters, white peddles and is close to an olive grove combining green with blue color.

 

 

Sofas Beach

Sofas beach belongs to Perdika Community. It is located 5 km away from Perdika on the way to Sivota. It is a small quiet beach with crystal clear waters, coarse sand and pebbles. On the background you can see an olive grove. It has a tavern and camping.

Mega Ntrafi Beach

Mega Ntrafi beach belongs to Perdika Community. It is located 10 km away from Perdika on the way to Sivota. It is a small quiet beach divided into two parts by a rocky hill. Mega Ntrafi also has light blue crystal clear waters, white pebbles and sand. It is surrounded by lush green rocks offering a peaceful and tranquil scenery.
