Livanates

Livanates is a summer resort with a sandy beach which is located near the archaeological site of Kynos, ancient port of Opus. We recommend a visit to the nearby church of Aghioi Theodoroi, where reportedly there was a “Kryfo Scholio" (secret school) during Turkish occupation. The town is located 68 km SE of Lamia.
