Koukounaries

Koukounaries (or Chrisi Ammos) is the most famous beach in the island and has been nominated as the third best beach of Mediterranean. It is worth to see the biotope of Koukounaries and follow the routes Aghia Eleni-Krifi Ammos and Mandraki-Elia-Agkistro, where you will find the beautiful homonym beaches. Equally beautiful are the beaches of Banana and Mikri Banana. Koukounaries is located 13 km SW of the capital.
