Chorefto

The port of Zagora and a very popular summer resort. The great Athenian poet, prose writer and academic Georgios Drosinis (1859-1951) used to come here to write. It is worth to see the coastal area of Aghion Saranta with its beautiful beaches. The village Makrirachi is situated close to Chorefto and it is famous for its flower exhibition that takes place here every August. Chorefto is located 56 km NE of Volos.
