Exploring the Island
Agios Kirykos is the capital and main port of the island. Its picturesque traditional town is built on a green hillside. Visit its charming old neighbourhoods, narrow alleys and captain houses. Historically the island holds a strong bond with the sea, which is apparent in the Archaeological Museum that showcases items found on the seabed.
Don’t miss out on visiting Evdilos village, the island’s second port, with its beautiful houses and cobble-stone alleys. It’s a traditional village, which was once the capital of the island.
Make a point of visiting Gialiskari, a seaside renowned village, with its nearby sandy beach Messakti as well as the fisherman's village Avlaki.

Christos Rachon is the main village of the mountainous area of Raches, located on a lush green hillside. The locals traditionally keep their shops open at night time (from sunset to sunrise).
