BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE

Mr. George Koletsos is currently holding the position of Secretary General of the Greek National Tourism Organization. Prior to this post he was also the Chairman of the Organizing Committee of Mediterranean Games Volos 2013 SA. Mr. Koletsos has spent over 20 years in various executive positions in Greek and Multinational companies both in Greece and abroad. 

Among others, he was part of Credit Lyonnais Corporate Finance division and Piraeus Prime Bank with a focus on shipping. He also held various executive positions in SARANTIS group leading to the position of Chief Executive Officer for the group. He holds a BSc in Economics from Athens University, a BSc in Physical Education from Athens University, an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance from Cass (City) University and an AMP from Harvard Business School.
