In accordance with legislation in force, the collection and evaluation of statistical data concerning the tourism sector falls within the competence of the National Statistical Service.

(At the site of National Statistical Service of Greece, select "Statistical Data" from the menu bar and then from the displayed list select "Trade & Services" \ "Tourism").

Also of interest is the New Media Trend Watch website which gathers data from over 70 sources on trends on internet usage by tourists all over the world and offers research reports and white papers, a free newsletter, as well as a unique graph service for comparing country data.
