1 packet of margarine
500 g. all-purpose flour
2 cups of sugar
1 sachet of baking powder
1 glass of orange juice
zest from 1 orange, 1 tangerine, and 1 lemon; one shot of brandy
Beat the egg whites until stiff.
Beat the margarine in a separate bowl until white.
Add the yolks and sugar. Continue beating the mixture until white.
Add the orange juice alternating with flour mixed with baking powder. Then add the brandy and the zest.
Finally, use a spatula to blend the egg whites gently into the mixture.
Place the contents of the bowl in a greased round baking pan. Bake in a preheated oven at 180˚C for one hour.
Set aside to cool, remove it from the mould, and dust it with caster sugar.
