Peace by Aristophanes

Aristophanes’ anti-war utopian comedy Peace, the summer production of the National Theatre of Northern Greece, rounds off its tour with performances in Attica.

Translated by K.H. Myris and staged by Sotiris Hatzakis, Peace is a play as timely today as ever, starring Vassilis Haralambopoulos (Trygaeus) and Fanis Mouratidis (Hermes) along with a large troupe of actors and dancers. The play’s choral parabasis will be acted by Giorgos Konstantinou. Peace is under the auspices of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (G.N.T.O.).

The play will be performed in various parts of Attica in September, promising moments of magic to its fans. Enjoy a unique performance on the 11th September at the Odeon of Herodes Atticus.
