Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People


Don’t miss the annual appointment at the first week of winter with the Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People and with the European Meeting of Young People’s Audiovisual Creation – Camera Zizanio at Pyrgos (Peloponnese).

The 15th Olympia International Film Festival for Children and Young People and the 12th European Meeting of Young People’s Audiovisual Creation – Camera Zizanio will take place from December 1, 2012 until December 8, 2012.

With competing ffrom more than 40 countries, parallel screenings out of competition, film workshops, theatrical performances, concerts, photo exhibitions and many more events, the Olympia Film Festival and Camera Zizanio transform Pyrgos into a hive of communication and artistic creation where children and youngsters are starring with their inspiration and imagination.

More than 50 films compete from all over the world in the context of the 15th Olympia Festival whereas 350 films, created by children and youngsters up to 20 years old, compete in the context of the 12th Camera Zizanio.

In parallel programmes there will be screenings of 45 films for children and youngsters from around the world and 30 young audiovisual creations from 4 countries outside Europe.
