Offering several stages, the Micropolis Festival is divided into themed zones called The Micropolis neighbourhoods and delivers over 60 exciting and interactive activities such as imagination stations, storytelling events, music-theatre events etc.
The aim at the Micropolis Children’s Festival, which has been operating since 2009 under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs, Culture and Sports, is to encourage community participation, inspire creativity and imagination in children and cultivate social responsibility on global affairs such as ecology, poverty, health, solidarity, human rights, culture etc.
Inspired by the famous Alexandre Dumas quote One for all and all for one, the 2012 Micropolis Festival celebrates and supports the international year of cooperation declared by the United Nations.
