An original art panorama of designs, images and various bicycle types will be welcoming the passengers and visitors of the Athens International Airport until December 31, 2012.

The BikeArt Is In The Air art initiative is hosted by AIA in cooperation with the artist group Carpe Diem. Thirty-two art bicycles in the airport’s arrivals and departures areas, an illustrations-drawings exhibition including 12 works created by Greek and international artists and a mural painting created live before the airport public by 4 Greek artists, constitute the 3 ‘sections’ of the BikeArt Is In The Air art panorama.

BikeArt Is In The Air aims at offering a different approach regarding bicycles, while inviting everyone to envisage and adopt an alternative, ecological way of living.
