Asterokosmos is deployed over three pavilions (Nos. 13, 14 and 15) as well as at the outdoor premises of the Exhibition Centre. At Pavilion 13 there will be two ice-skating rinks, one for young children and one for older skaters. There will also be the dodgems, small trains and other rides.
Pavilion 14 gets charitable and welcomes visitors to the Wish-trees of Love. Visitors can buy lottery tickets to vote for the best Wish-tree and go for various presents. At the same Pavilion there will also be housed two Karagiozis shadow theatre performances per day (by Shadow Theatre Agapiou) as well as workshops for children.
At Pavilion 15, there is a narrative presentation using dolls and real costumes; visitors can go around six open tableaux presenting stories of the Bible. Also at Pavilion 15, on the central stage of artistic events, there is a rich programme (acts including theatre and acrobatics, etc.).
At Asterokosmos visitors can take part in the first interactive Nativity in Greece; but that’s not all as the list of novelties goes on with unexpected happenings and concerts.
Those who cannot wait to enter into the magic Christmas world of Asterokosmos can board on the mini train which starts from YMCA Square and – through a magic trip – goes through the gates and the Station Master’s welcoming post in order to start its tour of Asterokosmos.
