Local myths and folklore about the Centaurs come to life among cobbles and olive trees. In the museums, the fountains, old schools and coffee shops, in the country chapels, railway stations, groves and gardens, in hostel and house yards, old stories unfold to be heard by today’s children and adults alike.
In the 3rd Storytelling Festival titled ‘Folktales & Myths on the back of the Centaur’, storytelling performances by Greek and non Greek-speaking storytellers are coupled with the Summer School of Folktale lessons. Hosted events will include workshops about the art of narration and artistic exhibitions, and special tributes will take place in the evenings.
Travel to lush Mt. Pelion, feel the magic in the air and experience the enchanting world of storytelling!
