The Museum of Natural History in Alexandropoli is housed in a well equipped building perfectly coincided with the environment.
The Museum includes 4 halls:
A) hall 1:
Gives information to visitors about the meaning of biodiversity and the general characteristics of Greece and Evros prefecture.
B) hall 2:
In this hall there are modern technological facilities such as: LCD (LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY) projection system and presentations about the biodiversity of Evros prefecture displayed on a personal computer.
C) hall 3:
Detailed presentation of ecosystems.
D) hall 4:
Presentation of human activities in the urban and rural environment of Evros prefecture, projected through old pictures and videos having as theme the history of men and environment.
Working hours: 1. Tuesday-Friday 09:00-15:00 and
2. Saturday-Sunday 11:00-14:00
