The Ethnic Museum of Thrace is located in Alexandropoli, housed in a stone neoclassic building built in 1899 in building 63, 14th of May Str.
Its thematic units, which are developed in chronological order, cover the period between the end of 17th century and the beginning of 20th century. The units include:

• Apparel
• The cycle of worship
• The pre industrial diet-confectionary
• The traditional cultivations
• The facilities of sesame factory and dyehouse
• The E.M.T is a vivid place where you can familiarize yourself with folk civilization of the area, connecting tradition and knowledge embodied in it.
