The Castle.

The Folklore- Maritime Museum housed in a renovated building of the medieval castle and hosting Dr. Manolis Christoulakis' collection of everyday objects.
Panaghia Odigitria cathedral, with remarkable 17th and 18th century icons. - The Afedakio Foundation.- The Windmills, in “Ksaplovouni” site.- The Genisi Christos church (dedicated to the Nativity of Christ, 1592).- The churches of Panaghia Eleousa, Aghios Nikolaos (17th cent.), Aghios Georgios (with 17th century icons), Aghioi Anargyroi, Taxiarxes, Zoodochos Pighi, Aghios Spiridon, Sarada Martires, Aghios Chrisostomos and Evagelistria (1608).- The Paliokastro (Portara), at the NW of Chora, where you will see the ruins of houses and a circular tower. In this area potsherds (pottery fragments) decorated with shapes of the Geometric and Archaic period have been found. More to the south is the interesting Konsolina cave.
The Vromolimnis cave, on the northern part of the island, the biggest of a series of rock-cut caves.- The Aghios Minas monastery.
