It is built in Velouchi in “Diavolotopos” (devils place) area of Timfristos mountain, 12 km away from Karpenisi at an altitude of 1840m. It was inaugurated in 1974. It is a very popular destination for experienced as well as amateur skiers. The resort has 12 pitches of different levels of difficulty, ski schools, restaurant and bar and shops that sell or rent ski equipment.
