There is no organized alpine club in Ios island. Nevertheless, because of its several massifs, Ios island is ideal both for climbing and mountaineering. Its highest mountains are Pirgos (713m), Prophet Elias (514m) and Vouni (409m). As the mountains of Ios have many pathways, hikers have the opportunity to discover another side of Ios, the one which has pure beauty.
