Activities in Kastelorizo

Take a boat trip to Galazio Spilaio [Blue Cave], the largest and most gorgeous of all the Greek underwater caves. It has gained a global fame, due to its rich “ornament” of stalactites, lit from the sunrays’ reflexion offering a unique sight. It is located in the SE part of the island, while another equally important cave, the cave Kolones[Columns], is located even souther.
Take a trip to the island Ro (6 nm.W), and visit the monument of Despoina Axladiotis (the «Lady of Ro»), who used to hoist the Greek flag for several decades.
Swimming at Faros and Mandraki beaches. You can reach by boat Plakes, at Ro, where you can swim at the sand beach of Aghios Georgios and Stroggyli island (5 nm SE).
